About the Role:
MedPOINT Management is looking for a detail-oriented HDO Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare delivery organization (HDO) providers
- Verify provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history in compliance with NCQA and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records in credentialing databases and systems
- Coordinate with hospitals, medical groups, and health plans to facilitate timely credentialing approvals
- Monitor expiring credentials and proactively initiate renewal processes to ensure continuous compliance
- Prepare and present credentialing files for Credentialing Committee review
- Respond to provider and internal team inquiries regarding credentialing status and requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or medical staff services
- Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or Joint Commission credentialing standards
- Experience with credentialing software and provider data management systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Must be located in the Pacific Time zone and available during PT business hours
