About the Role

Welo Data is seeking experienced linguists to support a synthetic data generation program for a leading technology client. In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated translations from English to Gujarati, helping improve the quality and accuracy of AI language models.

As a Translation Validator, you will review an English source document alongside two machine-generated Gujarati translations, select the preferred version, and provide a brief justification for your choice.

• Pay Rate: $3.50/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Review English source documents and two AI-generated Gujarati translations.
• Evaluate translations for accuracy, fluency, grammar, and overall quality.
• Select the preferred translation and provide a written justification.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and within project timelines.
• Follow all project guidelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Gujarati (written and spoken).
• Good command of English.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Background in translation, linguistics, localization, or language quality evaluation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Romanized Gujarati or transliteration conventions is an advantage.
