AI Summary

Design and build the systems infrastructure to turn product and content into a repeatable revenue engine. This includes managing pipeline signals, automating AE workflows, and instrumenting marketing and growth systems.

Go-to-Market Engineer

  • Location: Remote (US)

  • Reports to: Head of Marketing

  • Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

The role

We are hiring our first Go-to-Market Engineer to build the systems that turn our product, content, and outbound motion into a repeatable revenue engine.

You will be Rime's first dedicated GTM systems builder, reporting to the Head of Marketing and partnering daily with our four AEs, sales leadership, our incoming DevRel, and our product teams. Your job is to design and ship the infrastructure that makes every other GTM hire more effective.

What you'll own

Pipeline and signal infrastructure

  • Build and maintain Rime's account architecture across our GTM segments. Each segment has different data, different signals, and different routing logic.

  • Design the signal layer that surfaces the right accounts to the right AE at the right time. Product usage, intent data, hiring signals, and more.

  • Build and maintain the golden list: the accounts where, if we got a magical intro tomorrow, we would be thrilled. Clean contacts, clear reasoning, current data.

AE and seller enablement

  • Automate the manual research, prep, and follow-up work that today eats AE time. Pre-call briefs, post-call summaries, CRM updates from call transcripts, follow-up drafts, and meeting reschedule flows.

  • Build the workflows that let four AEs operate like eight. The goal is to give every AE more time in conversations and less time in tabs.

  • Partner with sales leadership to instrument the funnel: stage definitions, conversion rates by source and segment, pipeline velocity, and the leading indicators of deal health.

Marketing and growth systems

  • Extend our existing PLG onboarding flow in HubSpot. Event-driven sequencing, activation scoring, self-serve to sales-led handoff, and lifecycle programs that meet developers where they are.

  • Own the systems behind our AEO and SEO programs. Tracking, citation monitoring, and the workflows that turn AEO insights into content briefs and outbound plays.

  • Build and maintain attribution and reporting infrastructure across HubSpot, GA4, GTM, and our LinkedIn ABM stack.

Cross-functional infrastructure

  • Partner with our incoming DevRel hire to instrument community signals, event ROI, and developer activation. They own the human-facing work, you build the systems that scale it.

  • Partner with our incoming Product Marketing Manager on launch infrastructure: how we measure launch impact, route launch-driven inbound, and operationalize positioning into outbound and lifecycle programs.

  • Partner with operations on the systems that bridge marketing, sales, and finance: revenue reporting, OKR tracking, board metrics, and the data quality work that keeps it all trustworthy.

Who you are

This role does not require a traditional engineering background, and the strongest GTMEs come from a wide range of starting points: RevOps, sales ops, marketing ops, growth, product design, even AE roles that got hands-on with tooling. What we care about is the combination of skills, not the resume path.

Required

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a GTM, RevOps, growth, or marketing ops role where you owned systems, not just executed plays.

  • Technical fluency. You are comfortable in Clay, n8n, or similar workflow tools. You can write SQL, work with APIs, and read enough Python or TypeScript to be dangerous. You have used LLM APIs in real workflows, not just chat. You know HubSpot like the back of your hand.

  • Commercial bias. You think in terms of pipeline, conversion, and revenue impact. You can explain the ROI of a workflow before you build it.

  • Systems thinking. You map customer journeys, design data flows, and instinctively reach for repeatable systems over one-off fixes.

  • Hacker mentality. You are resourceful and creative with available tools. The question is never 'can I do this' but 'how do I do this fastest.'

  • Comfort with ambiguity. You take fuzzy problems, structure them, and ship before the requirements are perfect.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a developer-first or infrastructure company. You understand that selling to engineers is different from selling to ops or sales leaders.

  • Experience instrumenting AEO, SEO, or LLM citation tracking.

  • Experience supporting a sales-led and self-serve motion at the same time.

Logistics

  • Remote within the US only. We meet up in person a couple of times a year, so you should be able to travel on occasion.

  • Full-time, with competitive cash, meaningful equity, and full benefits.

  • You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and sit on the broader GTM team.

At Rime, we...

  • Are outliers

  • Cut through the hype to focus on the craft

  • Move fast with agency and freedom

  • Maintain a growth mindset, finding joy in the struggle

  • Do the right things, knowing that it'll lead to making money

If that sounds like you too, you'll be a great fit for Rime!
