Growth Systems Developer

What you will do:

The Agent Success team operates a custom-built retention intelligence platform tracking agents across the US and Canada. This system identifies opportunities and gaps, automates notifications, tracks team stability, and surfaces patterns—all critical inputs for driving accretive business outcomes.

We are seeking a Growth Systems (Agent Success) Developer to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of our retention platform, write advanced backend logic, maintain and build critical data pipelines, and ensure our automated workflows run seamlessly.

You must be comfortable operating autonomously, diagnosing complex data issues, and collaborating with AI-assisted development tools to extend our platform.

How you will make an impact:

• Build & Maintain Internal Retention Tools: Own and improve the dashboards and automated workflows that help the Agent Success tea in m identify risks and opportunities, drive proactive action, and impact company strategy nationwide.
• Write and Optimize SQL: Build complex queries, RPCs, materialized views, and scheduled jobs (pg_cron) against our large Postgres database in Supabase.
• Develop Edge Functions: Write and maintain Deno/TypeScript functions powering automations, API syncs, and email notifications via SendGrid.
• Own Data Integrations: Execute incremental and full syncs against OData and REST APIs, establishing reliable deduplication, backfill strategies, and data quality validation.
• Debug & Extend AI-Generated Frontend: Diagnose broken UI logic, fix display issues, and extend React functionality when AI-generated code output falls short.
• Investigate Data Discrepancies: Dig directly into the source data to find inconsistencies, validate assumptions, and fix issues at the root.
• Support Automation Pipelines: Monitor and update scheduled notifications, alert emails, weekly list distribution, and nightly data refresh jobs.
• Document Your Work: Write clear SQL comments, function definitions, and clean handoff documentation for collaborative transparency.

How you will grab our attention:

• Must-Have Qualifications:
• • PostgreSQL Expertise: Strong proficiency beyond basic queries. Comfortable with CTEs, window functions, materialized views, pg_cron, and performance tuning (EXPLAIN ANALYZE, index strategies).
  • Supabase Stack: Experience with edge functions (Deno/TypeScript), RPC design, vault secrets, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
  • TypeScript/JavaScript: Proficient in Deno/TS environment.
  • API Integrations: Demonstrated experience integrating REST and OData APIs.
  • Git & GitHub: Solid understanding of version control and deploying edge functions.
• Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
• • React Frontend: Experience debugging and extending React UI components (especially when generated by AI tools).
  • Email Deliverability: Experience with SendGrid or similar transactional email platforms.
  • Data Pipelines: ETL thinking regarding incremental syncs, deduplication, and backfill logic.
  • AI Developer Tools: Familiarity with AI-assisted development platforms (e.g., Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code).
  • Industry Experience: Prior exposure to PropTech, real estate tech, or brokerage back-office environments.

  • Highly Autonomous: You can take a vague problem, investigate the system, and ship a robust fix without a dedicated product manager guiding every step.
  • Curious & Analytical: You seek to understand why the data matters to real estate agents and the business, not just what the database says.
  • Methodical: You diagnose why data is wrong before writing code, validating your assumptions against real-world scenarios.
