Growth Strategist (Freelance, Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Growth Marketing Strategist to support a high-profile business executive and entrepreneur in expanding their digital presence, improving audience engagement, and driving measurable growth.

This role is ideal for a versatile growth marketer who can combine strategy and execution across areas including SEO, AI search optimisation (AEO), website conversion, audience growth, community engagement, analytics, and performance marketing. The successful candidate will work independently to identify growth opportunities, test initiatives, analyse results, and recommend strategies that improve visibility, engagement, and conversion.

• Develop and execute growth strategies across digital channels.
• Identify opportunities to improve online visibility, audience growth, and conversion performance.
• Optimise website content and user journeys to improve discoverability and engagement.
• Develop SEO and AI search optimisation (AEO) strategies to strengthen digital presence.
• Analyse website traffic, audience behaviour, and campaign performance to identify opportunities.
• Support community growth and engagement across relevant online platforms.
• Develop and test growth initiatives, including content, campaigns, and audience-building strategies.
• Support paid marketing initiatives where relevant and recommend optimisation opportunities.
• Provide insights, reporting, and recommendations directly to senior stakeholders. 

Requirements

• Previous experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, SEO, conversion optimisation, or audience growth.
• Proven experience developing and executing growth strategies across multiple channels.
• Strong understanding of SEO, analytics, website optimisation, and digital funnels.
• Experience using data to identify opportunities and measure performance.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
