The Role
This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role at the core of our finance function. You will own global financial reporting, oversee multi-entity operations, and build scalable systems and controls for an international SaaS business.
What Success Looks like
- Within your first 6 months company transitions to new outsourced service
providers without any disruptions
- You will implement global ERP (Rillet) and upgrade current finance tech
stack with complementary AI led solutions
- You will help set up accounting, bookkeeping and reporting processes for
our subsidiary in the US and have a scalable process to set up future
subsidiaries
- You will own reporting globally, ensuring books are closed before 5th
working day, accurate reporting to the management team, board and
investors, as well as full statutory compliance in all jurisdictions where we
operate
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- 7–12+ years’ experience (Big 4 + SaaS preferred)
- Strong SaaS revenue recognition expertise
- Experience managing outsourced providers
- ERP implementation experience (Rillet, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365)
- Transfer pricing knowledge
1) Global Financial Reporting & Close
- Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close across UK, US, and India
entities
- Deliver consolidated financial statements and management reporting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP, with awareness of US GAAP
considerations
- Produce board and investor reporting, including KPI analysis
- Own R&D Claims in the UK and other jurisdictions if applicable
2) SaaS Revenue Recognition (Critical)
- Own IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliant revenue recognition policies
- Manage subscription, usage-based, and multi-element revenue streams
- Ensure correct treatment of deferred revenue and contract modifications
- Partner with sales and legal on deal structuring
- Support automation via ERP and billing integration
3) Outsourced Provider Management
- Manage outsourced accounting, and tax providers globally
- Lead selection process for outsources service providers and help establish
processes for newly incorporated US entity
- Establish SLAs and ensure quality of deliverables
- Review journals, reconciliations, and statutory filings
- Ensure consistency across jurisdictions
4) ERP Implementation & Systems
- Lead ERP implementation (Rillet) and own updates within the ERP
- Define chart of accounts and reporting structures
- Integrate billing, CRM, payroll systems and expense claim systems
- Drive automation of close, consolidation, and reporting
5) Transfer Pricing & International Structure
- Implement transfer pricing policies across UK, US, and India
- Ensure OECD compliance and documentation
- Manage intercompany agreements and allocations
6) Controls, Compliance & Audit
- Build internal controls and governance frameworks
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance in all jurisdictions
- Lead audits and manage auditor relationships
7) AI-Enabled Finance
- Build an AI-led finance function with automation and analytics
- Improve forecasting, anomaly detection, and reporting
- Partner with data teams on finance architecture - Build global finance infrastructure
- Lead ERP implementation
- Work at the intersection of AI and SaaS
