Job Summary

Graphic Designer develops compelling creative from concept to execution. This role works with multiple media, including, but not limited to: digital (e.g., landing pages, banner ads, social), print (e.g. newspaper, magazine, flyers, posters, signage, direct mail), and email to produce quality marketing materials for various business units, for use internally and externally. Must possess a keen eye and a creative mind, as well as be passionate about layout, design, brand management, and harnessing them to produce business value. The Graphic Designer will work primarily on production related jobs. The Graphic Designer will have technical creative support from Senior Graphic Designers as needed, as well as guidance/direction from Brand & Experience leadership as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing creative assets/providing design support utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills. Work may cross several business units and support areas. Collaborate with writers and other designers (internal or agency resources) when needed. Must be able to present work, and associated rationale, to marketing partners and key stakeholders.
  • Assisting Sr Graphic Designers with organizing assets/files, supporting one-off simple production requests (e.g., logo requests).
  • Attending work start meetings, briefings, creative team meetings, creative reviews and process improvement workshops. Backing up Traffic Manager as Workfront Administrator.
  • Participating on special projects as assigned by Brand & Experience leadership (e.g., creative process improvements).

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. 

  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS  

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent​.

  • 3-5 years of experience required in graphic design at an internal creative team, advertising agency, or freelance work.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of banking and mortgage industries.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud/Salesforce.
  • Knowledge/experience with Workfront.
  • Illustrator experience.

Job Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to work with templates and production-based work, well versed in working with marketing partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, demonstrated by a portfolio of relevant work samples.
  • Excellent typography, color theory and ability to ensure brand consistency through application of brand standards.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript principles.
  • Print production knowledge.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, proven success with prioritizing work and managing time.
  • Minimal travel required, on-site press checks as needed.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results. 
  • Builds trusted client relationships, whether internal or external, by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions to enhance the overall client experience. 
  • Fosters or supports a positive work culture and productive work environment, displaying importance of effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Pay Range

$28.88 - $44.24
