Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Pricing Coordinator

Position Overview

Parexel is seeking a Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Pricing Coordinator to join our Global Trade Compliance team. This is a newly created role that plays a critical function in ensuring accurate Unit Price governance for clinical trial materials throughout the supply chain.

As the GTC Pricing Coordinator, you will serve as the primary control point for customs unit price validation and approval, ensuring all support documentation related to clinical trial materials unit price, is properly reviewed and assessed in compliance with international trade regulations and sponsor requirements. This role bridges between Sponsor and Parexel Clinical Logistics teams, providing essential oversight that mitigate potential Customs Valuations risks.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Unit Price Governance & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary owner of customs unit price validation activities for sponsor-provided clinical trial materials
  • Collect, review, and document unit price information from sponsors using approved pricing documentation
  • Ensure pricing information is accurate, complete, adequately supported, and compliant with company procedures
  • Review sponsor-provided pricing methodologies and identify potential customs valuation risks
  • Maintain traceable, audit-ready records supporting all pricing determinations and validation decisions
  • Support implementation and maintenance of global pricing governance standards
  • Participate in internal audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections related to customs valuation processes
  • Monitor changes in customs valuation requirements and recommend process adjustments

Pricing Validation & Quality Control

  • Perform mandatory unit price quality control reviews before import/export execution
  • Validate unit prices for medicinal products and sponsor-provided supplies requiring fixed pricing controls
  • Review supporting documentation for pricing accuracy and completeness
  • Reject and return pricing records that do not meet validation standards
  • Approve compliant pricing records and document decisions within designated systems
  • Serve as the approval gate ensuring no validated material proceeds through import/export without appropriate pricing review

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Project Management & Delivery (PMD) teams to ensure study materials are properly established within Parexel systems
  • Collaborate with Sponsors to obtain required unit price information and associated documentation
  • Support GTC teams by providing validated pricing information for customs invoice preparation
  • Participate in project meetings to provide updates on pricing validation status
  • Communicate pricing issues, risks, and delays to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Assist with resolution of customs valuation questions raised by customs brokers, government authorities, or project teams

What We're Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • Significant experience in customs valuation, trade compliance, supply chain operations, or pricing governance
  • Experience with clinical trial supplies, pharmaceutical logistics, or healthcare-related international trade
  • Strong understanding of customs valuation principles and import/export documentation requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in customs valuation methodologies and compliance controls
  • Proven ability to review and validate data for accuracy and compliance purposes
  • Experience working within global, cross-functional environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database systems
  • Fluent English communication skills

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields:

  • International Trade
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics
  • Business Administration
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Customs & Trade Compliance

About You

You are a subject matter expert in customs valuation and trade compliance who understands the nuances of international trade regulations. You have the ability to identify inconsistencies and potential risks in pricing documentation, and you communicate these findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You're comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple departments. You thrive in a regulated environment where attention to detail and documentation are critical. You understand that the work you do directly impacts Parexel's compliance posture and our ability to serve our sponsors effectively.

This role is ideal for someone with a background similar to a Senior GTC Coordinator, with the added dimension of customs valuation expertise. You may come from the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or commercial trade compliance sectors—what matters is your solid foundation in trade compliance and your willingness to apply that expertise to the unique challenges of clinical trial supply chain management.

Location & Work Arrangement

Primary Locations: Argentina or Mexico (Latin America region)

This position is based in Latin America. Candidates from Argentina and Mexico are encouraged to apply. The role requires collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones.
