Save the Children
For over 100 years, Save the Children has been fighting for the rights of children. The right to a healthy start in life. To have access to education. To be in a safe environment, protected from harm. We work in some of the world’s hardest-to-reach places – over 100 countries, including the U.S. No matter what your role is, when you join Save the Children, you’re creating positive, irreversible change for children, and the future we all share.
The Role
As the International Programs Disability Rights and Inclusion Fellow, you'll be integral to our work in helping children achieve a brighter future. You will provide technical support to advance disability rights and inclusion across Save the Children's international programs and policy and advocacy work, which spans development and humanitarian programming in 120 countries. Working alongside the global Disability Inclusion Working Group and the policy and advocacy team, you will support strategic initiatives including research and evaluation, technical guidance, partnerships with Organizations of People with Disabilities, and engagement with US government and USAID policies on disability inclusion. Your work will help build the capacity of Save the Children staff worldwide to ensure that children with disabilities have equitable access to programs and support in both development and humanitarian contexts.
