Role Summary
- Combines content expertise with marketing strategy: optimizing metadata, creating in-house highlights, coordinating promotional campaigns, and curating content experiences to maximize visibility and platform performance.
- Drives audience growth, engagement, and subscriptions across digital streaming platforms.
- Collaborate with content owners, cloud and monetization teams, channel managers, and marketing teams to ensure the content supports both audience satisfaction and platform growth.

Key Responsibilities
Content Preparation & Ingestion
- Review, edit, and prepare video, audio, subtitles, and metadata for OTT distribution.
- Ensure all assets meet technical, editorial, brand standards and regulatory laws.
Content Promotion & Highlight Creation
- Produce in-house highlights, trailers, and promo edits for platforms and social channels.
- Design campaigns that drive views, downloads, subscriptions.
Metadata Optimization & Discoverability
- Optimize titles, descriptions, thumbnails, keywords, categories, and tags for SEO, trending topics, and platform algorithms.
- Test and refine metadata to improve search performance, CTR, audience engagement.
Cross-Functional Marketing Collaboration
- Work with marketing, social media, and growth teams to plan campaigns, push notifications, and social clips.
- Partner with channel managers and content owners to define a clear promotion roadmap, ensuring content drives platform growth and platform amplifies content reach.
Performance Monitoring & Audience Insights
- Track KPIs : watch time, completion rates, CTR, engagement, and subscription impact.
- Analyse performance data to recommend programming, promotions, and highlight strategies.
Platform Optimization & Curation
- Implement improvements to UX, homepage carousels, categorization, recommendation algorithms.
- Ensure platform layouts maximize content exposure and audience engagement.
Trend Monitoring & Market Awareness
- Stay informed about OTT and digital media trends, viral content formats, and competitor strategies.
- Identify opportunities for innovative content promotion and audience engagement.
Operational & Compliance Support
- Maintain documentation, workflows, and content guidelines.
- Ensure content adheres to legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of content marketing, users acquisition, social media promotion, and audience engagement strategies.
- Experience using audience analytics to inform content programming, promotional campaigns, and platform growth strategies.
- Ability to create promotional content (highlights, trailers, banners) that drives downloads, views, and subscriptions.
- Familiarity with A/B testing metadata, artwork, and thumbnails to optimize engagement.
- Knowledge of OTT platform algorithms, recommendation systems, and best practices for discoverability.
- Experience in OTT, VOD, broadcast, or digital media operations.
- Editorial skills with attention to metadata accuracy and audience behaviour.
- Familiarity with CMS, MAM systems, streaming workflows, technical delivery requirements.
- Excellent English – must, English as mother tongue , Arabic language – big advantage, other languages – advantage.
Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple content pipelines simultaneously, Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
