On behalf of our client, an established fintech powerhouse and a globally recognized Forex broker, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Head of Business Development to lead and expand their Introducing Broker (IB) relationships on a global scale. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business development within financial services, trading platforms, or fintech, featuring deep experience in managing IB networks, partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives. In this role, you will drive revenue, market expansion, and long-term growth strategies across key global markets. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee international partnerships, and serve as a key representative of the organization at client-facing and industry events.
Location: Remote or hybrid (if you are located in a city where they have an office)
As a Global Head of Business Development, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Define and execute the global business development strategy with a focus on Introducing Brokers (IBs) and strategic partnerships.
Identify, target, and develop relationships with high-value IBs across multiple geographies. Lead negotiations, onboarding, and management of IB agreements and partnership contracts.
Monitor IB performance metrics, set KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in partner revenue and engagement.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions and campaigns for IBs.
Evaluate new market opportunities, assess competition, and recommend expansion strategies.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with top-tier clients and IBs.
Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of business development managers and IB professionals.
Provide senior management with regular reporting on market trends, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions where IBs or clients operate.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in business development, IB, or client relationship management in financial services, trading platforms, fintech, or brokerage environments.
Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language. Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly in key markets such as Asia, SEA, Europe, and LatAm.
Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Introducing Broker (IB) management, alongside a deep understanding of global financial markets, trading products (FX, CFDs, equities, derivatives), and regulatory considerations.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and scale global teams, including remote and regional sales managers.
Core Competencies: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the clear ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
Track Record: Proven success in delivering measurable business growth and revenue from strategic partnerships, backed by a strategic mindset and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
Mobility: Ability to travel internationally and manage multi-timezone teams effectively.
