Assembled Intelligence (assembledintelligence.co), an integrated communications and commercialization platform designed to unite all of its capabilities to deliver smarter, faster, purpose-built solutions across the healthcare product lifecycle is seeking a Global Benefits Specialist to support the administration and evolution of our employee benefits programs across multiple regions, with primary expertise in the United States and United Kingdom. The Global Benefits Specialist will play a critical role in benefits operations, employee enrolment administration, vendor management, compliance support, and market benchmarking. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing employee benefit elections through vendor platforms and HRIS systems, partnering with global brokers and carriers, and helping shape competitive benefits offerings that support a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Global Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs across the US and UK.
- Manage day-to-day benefits operations, including eligibility, enrolments, life events, terminations, and employee inquiries.
- Support annual open enrolment and benefits renewal activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee elections and benefit changes.
- Conduct regular audits of enrolment data, auto-enrolments, payroll deductions, and carrier files to maintain data integrity.
Benefits Technology & Vendor Management
- Serve as a key administrator for benefits enrolment and vendor platforms (e.g., Dayforce, Employee Navigator, Fidelity, Pension schemes, etc).
- Coordinate eligibility feeds, enrolment files, and system integrations with HRIS and payroll team.
- Troubleshoot employee enrolment issues and vendor related escalations.
- Partner with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Support implementation of new vendors, programs, and system enhancements.
Employee Experience & Communications
- Provide exceptional support to employees regarding benefits eligibility, enrolment, claims, and coverage questions.
- Create and maintain employee facing communications, enrolment guides, FAQs, and educational materials.
- Assist with benefits orientations, webinars, and information sessions.
- Promote awareness and utilization of company sponsored wellness and benefits programs.
Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance with applicable benefits regulations in the US and UK.
- Maintain plan documentation, policies, and administrative procedures.
- Partner with payroll and external advisors to support audits and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and benefits administration practices.
Market Benchmarking & Program Development
- Monitor industry trends, emerging benefits programs, and employee expectations.
- Participate in benefits benchmarking exercises and market surveys.
- Analyze utilization, participation, and cost data to identify opportunities for program enhancements.
- Provide recommendations to improve competitiveness, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Support the development of global benefits strategies as the organization expands.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular reporting on enrolment activity, utilization trends, vendor performance, and program costs.
- Analyze benefits data and provide actionable insights to HR and leadership stakeholders.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and renewal processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of progressive benefits administration experience, including exposure to global organizations.
- Strong working knowledge of US and UK benefits programs, enrolment processes, and vendor administration.
- Experience managing employee elections through benefits administration platforms and HRIS systems.
- Experience partnering with benefits brokers, consultants, carriers, and third-party administrators.
- Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing benefits data to support decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-growing technology, consulting, healthcare, or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of leave administration and wellness programs.
- Familiarity with Dayforce, Employee Navigator, Fidelity, or similar systems.
- CEBS, CBP, SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant certification.
