A professional services company is seeking a General Counsel to join its executive leadership team. The company is a recognized leader in cybersecurity compliance, privacy, governance, risk assurance, and emerging AI certification services, helping many of the world's most innovative organizations navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments.

The General Counsel will serve as the company's senior legal executive, partnering closely with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors while leading an established legal organization. This role spans commercial contracting, employment, M&A, governance, compliance, privacy, international expansion, and strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a proven General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer who is known for getting things done. You are highly commercial, move with urgency, and partner exceptionally well with business leaders across sales, operations, delivery, and HR. You understand how to balance risk with growth and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed rather than simply pushing work down through the organization.

Experience supporting international expansion and M&A activity is important, as is a track record of modernizing legal operations and contracting workflows. Familiarity with AI-enabled legal processes, contract lifecycle management systems, and scalable legal infrastructure is highly attractive.

The strongest candidates will bring experience from professional services, consulting, compliance, risk management, information services, cybersecurity, audit, assurance, or other expertise-driven businesses. Success in this role requires understanding how to support a people-intensive services organization where client delivery, commercial responsiveness, and operational scalability are critical to growth.
