AI Summary

You will own the end-to-end development of modules within the PVS ecosystem, including architecture design, implementation, and production infrastructure management. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high code quality and mentor other engineers.

We want to enable the access to digital medical consultation for everyone in Germany. Really for everyone! To reach that, we are building the leading on-demand platform for telemedicine. And your impact matters.

Are you seeking more than just a job, but a meaningful mission that fills you with pride?  Welcome! We are TeleClinic, Germany’s leading telemedicine platform.
Digitalisation of the German healthcare system is currently taking off and we offer some seats to join us on this revolutionary journey. Join TeleClinic and play a pivotal role in shaping a healthier society.

As a Full-Stack Engineer (m/f/d), you will own one or more modules of our PVS ecosystem (e.g. prescriptions, eAU, ePA, KIM) end-to-end — working inside our AI-first development cycle.
Ownership here goes above and beyond shipping code: You understand what you build in depth, with no blind spots.

You propose architecture that actually meets the underlying business requirements rather than just implementing a spec, you ensure test frameworks are in place to catch regressions early, and you are comfortable owning the infrastructure your module runs on — including how it is distributed and operated in production. You consistently leverage AI to build, and you push to make that leverage scale rather than staying a one-off productivity trick. You work closely with our Architect on shared platform components, and with QA and Design to guarantee that our TI features are maintained and available.

Concretely, you will

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and WebSockets in Python & Django to support our applications

  • Build highly performant single-page and desktop applications using React, TypeScript, and Electron, delivering exceptional user experiences

  • Design and deploy services on cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), ensuring our platform is scalable and reliable

  • Own the test frameworks for your module, catching regressions early and ensuring long-term maintainability

  • Monitor performance closely using Datadog, Sentry, Grafana, and CloudWatch, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively

  • Act as a technical mentor for other engineers and contribute to pair programming, fostering a culture of shared expertise and continuous learning

  • Take the lead in maintaining engineering best practices, ensuring consistency and excellence in code quality

  • Ship clear, maintainable, and thoughtfully commented code, setting the standard for software excellence

What you ideally bring

  • Several years of professional experience with Python & Django, and deep proficiency with React and TypeScript (ideally 5+ years with React)

  • Solid experience with web technologies and Electron/JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORMs)

  • Experience with concurrency and asynchronous tasks using Celery or similar technology

  • Experience with testing frameworks to ensure robustness and reliability (we use Jest, Playwright, and Cypress)

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure — we’re on AWS (Azure, GCP, or similar also welcome)

  • Competence with revision control systems (we use Git)

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience that demonstrates your technical capabilities

  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive, with a proven track record of continuous learning and personal growth

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly

Our salaries are determined based on objective and role-related criteria, aligned with the local market standards of your specific hiring country. Your dedicated recruiter will be happy to provide detailed information about the relevant salary bands prior to your first interview.
