The developer will manage the technical health, maintenance, and integrations of a law firm's website network. They will also utilize AI tools to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and support marketing and sales workflows.
POSITION SUMMARY
We're looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to be dedicated full-time to one of our family law firm clients, supporting their primary website and full network of related properties (satellite sites, microsites, and location or practice-area domains tied to the same firm). You'll work with a Lead developer to own the technical health of that entire site network — development, uptime, integrations, and internal tools — end to end. This role is a great fit for someone who's comfortable owning a project end to end — from a PHP backend fix to a front-end update to a broken Zapier automation — and who's genuinely excited about using AI tools to work faster and build better.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Website Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot the client's website and its full network of related properties, primarily on WordPress, ensuring they're fast, secure, mobile-responsive, and built to convert.
Uptime Monitoring & Site Network Support: Monitor uptime, performance, and security across the client's entire network of sites, proactively catching outages or degradation and resolving issues before they affect leads, rankings, or brand reputation.
Server & Environment Management: Manage servers and deployments, including staging-to-production workflows, backups, uptime, and performance, with clear documentation for each environment.
CRM & Marketing Integrations: Build and maintain integrations between the firm's sites, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools, and other third-party systems so lead and data handoffs are accurate and reliable.
Web Lead Handling & Error Monitoring: Own the technical side of web lead capture — monitoring for errors, qualifying lead issues, and working with marketing and sales teams to resolve breakdowns quickly.
Database Work: Query and manage relational databases (SQL) to support reporting, integrations, and troubleshooting across web and marketing systems.
APIs & Automation: Use APIs to connect internal and third-party tools, and build or troubleshoot automations (e.g., Zapier) that keep marketing workflows running without manual intervention.
AI-Driven Development: Actively use AI tools to speed up development, debug issues, and identify opportunities to improve or rebuild existing projects more efficiently.
Performance Optimization: Support A/B testing, analytics tracking (Google Analytics and similar tools), and on-page SEO best practices to improve the performance of web pages and campaigns.
Technical Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation for integrations, deployment processes, and recurring workflows so knowledge doesn't live in one person's head.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and design — plus outside agencies and vendors when needed — to make sure web development work supports broader business goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
Core Languages: Proficient in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
CMS: Comfortable working with WordPress (theme/plugin customization, maintenance, troubleshooting).
APIs: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and connecting third-party systems.
Server Management: Experience maintaining or deploying to a web server, including staging-to-production workflows.
CRM & Marketing Tools: Hands-on experience with CRM and/or marketing automation tools (Salesforce experience is a strong plus).
AI Fluency: A skilled, enthusiastic user of AI tools who actively looks for ways to apply them to build and improve projects faster.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and clear written and verbal communication.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
SEO: Familiarity with on-page and technical SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush.
BENEFITS:

5 Paid Sick Days per year
Paid Company Holidays
Maternity Leave
