Position Overview

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team, with a strong focus on backend engineering, operational ownership, and production reliability. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across the stack, but who brings depth in building and maintaining backend services, APIs, integrations, data flows, and deployment pipelines. Front-end work is part of the role, but the primary evaluation will be on backend design, service quality, troubleshooting ability, automation, and the capacity to operate software reliably in production.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Java or C#. Build reliable integrations with relational databases, message queues, and third-party systems. Work within CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy, and promote services across environments. Debug and resolve production issues, contributing to observability, incident response, and system reliability. Automate recurring operational tasks through scripting and infrastructure tooling. Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and engineering best practices. Support front-end development when needed, ensuring interfaces are functional, maintainable, and aligned with product requirements.

Required Qualifications

· 3+ years of professional software development experience.

· Strong proficiency in Java or C#; solid understanding of OOP principles and common design patterns.

· Backend framework experience: Spring or Spring Boot (Java), or ASP.NET Core (C#).

· Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines, release processes, environment troubleshooting, and deployment tooling, including pipeline authoring, multi-stage builds, and artifact promotion.

· Ability to manage Linux systems in a full-stack engineering context, including environment troubleshooting, service diagnostics, permissions, logs, and runtime configuration.

· Good experience with Bash and scripting for automation, operational tasks, data/file manipulation, and repeatable maintenance workflows.

· Strong experience building, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs and service integrations.

· SQL proficiency: ability to write and optimize queries against relational databases.

· Experience with build and dependency management tooling (Maven, Gradle, NuGet, or equivalent).

· Proficiency with Git: branch/PR workflow and collaboration in a team codebase.

· Hands-on experience with production operations, including debugging, log analysis, monitoring, alerting, and incident follow-up.

· Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

· Hands-on experience with AWS: S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.

· Bash/shell scripting: file parsing, pipelines, and data transformation.

· Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible.

· Python scripting for utilities or data pipeline work.

· Familiarity with JavaScript/Node.js.

· Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue or React.

· Domain knowledge in retail/e-commerce: inventory management, order routing, or fulfillment concepts.
