Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications using React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

This role requires someone who can work independently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude) to improve productivity while adhering to established coding standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js.
  
• Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
  
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
  
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionality based on business requirements.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the full technology stack.
  
• Utilize Claude (AI Coding Assistant) to:
  • Generate code suggestions
    
  • Accelerate development tasks
    
  • Refactor existing code
    
  • Improve developer productivity
    
  • Validate AI-generated code before deployment
    
• Manage source code using Git and Bitbucket, including:
  • Branching strategies
    
  • Pull requests
    
  • Code reviews
    
  • Merge conflict resolution
    
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications hosted on AWS.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
  • Sprint Planning
    
  • Daily Stand-ups
    
  • Sprint Reviews
    
  • Retrospectives
    
  • Backlog Refinement
    
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, UX Designers, and fellow developers.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
  
• Perform peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiative
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
  
• Strong proficiency in:
  • React.js
    
  • JavaScript (ES6+)

• Solid experience with:

  • Express.js
    
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including:

  • Query optimization

• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
  
• Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket in a collaborative environment.
  
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude).
  
• Experience deploying or supporting applications in AWS.
  
• Understanding of:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
