We are building an interactive fintech product where performance, clean UX, and seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems are critical.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with a strong front-end orientation, particularly in React Native, to help build and scale Qompyl’s mobile-first trading platform.

While this is a full-stack role, the primary focus will be on mobile front-end development, user experience, and real-time data interaction. The ideal candidate is comfortable contributing to back-end systems (Python/FastAPI) but thrives in building intuitive, high-performance mobile interfaces.

This role is ideal for a front-end-leaning full-stack developer who enjoys building mobile experiences and can confidently collaborate on back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End (Primary Focus)

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.

• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and smooth UX across iOS and Android.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket services for real-time financial data updates.

• Implement state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).

• Build reusable UI components and contribute to scalable front-end architecture.

• Optimize rendering of live market data and strategy simulations.

Back-End (Secondary Contribution)

• Contribute to back-end systems using Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.

• Support API design and integration between front-end and back-end services.

• Collaborate on performance optimization for real-time data handling.

• Participate in system architecture discussions.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain clean code standards and version control using Git/GitHub.

• Collaborate in sprint planning and delivery using Azure DevOps.

• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalability and maintainability.

• Foster strong communication and a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React Native in production environments.

• Solid experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and real-time WebSocket services.

• Experience building or contributing to mobile apps (iOS & Android).

• Backend experience with Python and FastAPI (or strong willingness to work on backend components).

• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.

• Strong communication skills in a remote startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Flutter.

• Experience in fintech or real-time data applications.

• Familiarity with financial data visualization libraries.

• Experience in early-stage startups.

• Docker and CI/CD familiarity.

💡 Please Note - Equity-Only Structure

This is a part-time, equity-only role, suitable as a side engagement alongside a primary job or consulting work.

The position will transition to compensated status after the MVP launch and once funding or sustainable revenue is secured.
