We’re looking for a Frontend Engineering Intern who wants to build real user-facing products—not just implement designs.
You’ll work on the customer-facing console for speech intelligence, including audio setup, transcript review, analytics, QA tooling, and admin controls. This is a fast-moving environment where the product evolves weekly and ambiguity is part of the job.
You’ll collaborate closely with founders, product, and backend teams to design and ship features that directly impact user experience. Your work will go live quickly and be used by real customers.
If you enjoy thinking deeply about UX, building polished interfaces, and improving workflows—not just components—this role will push you to grow fast.
Build and iterate on the customer-facing console (audio setup, transcripts, analytics, QA tools, admin controls)
Integrate frontend with backend APIs and handle edge cases gracefully
Implement data visualisations for complex metrics
Ensure performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices
Write clean, maintainable React/TypeScript code
Collaborate with product, design, and backend to ship features end-to-end
Add and maintain E2E tests for critical user journeys (Playwright or Cypress)
Communicate clearly about tradeoffs, UX decisions, and risks
Strong fundamentals in React, TypeScript, or a similar modern frontend stack
Comfort working with APIs and handling loading, error, and empty states
Basic understanding of performance optimisation for web apps
Familiarity with authentication flows and role-based UI patterns
Interest in E2E testing and frontend quality practices
Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
You think in terms of user-perceived reliability, not just dashboards
You ask “what does good reliability look like?” before adding metrics
You take ownership of uptime and graceful degradation
You balance speed of change with system stability
You proactively identify reliability gaps before they cause incidents
Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
Exposure to incident management or on-call workflows
Experience with resilience testing or chaos engineering
Familiarity with tracing and structured logging
Within 4–6 weeks, you should be able to:
Own monitoring and alerting for a subset of services
Reduce noisy alerts and improve signal quality
Contribute to incident retrospectives with actionable insights
Improve reliability, visibility, or response time in a measurable way
Hands-on experience building reliability practices from the ground up
Direct collaboration with founders and core engineering teams
Real ownership beyond a typical SRE internship
A portfolio of dashboards, runbooks, and system improvements
A strong pathway into SRE, platform, or production engineering roles
If you want predictable systems with no incidents to handle
If you avoid ambiguity or cross-team problem solving
If you prefer rigid, siloed environments with predefined processes
Builders who want to actively own system reliability
Engineers who think in terms of end-to-end systems
Calm debuggers of intermittent and complex failures
High-agency individuals who care about keeping systems running reliably
