Job Description

The application Digital construction support „Digitale Baubegleitung” is becoming the central platform for digitization of construction sites for fiber-rollout in Germany. Among other things, it enables the collection of data on newly constructed cable routes using compatible measurement systems, including the creation of photos and 3D models of the trenches. In the long term, the web application for visualizing collected data and ensuring quality control forms the basis for the automation of documentation, billing, and AI-supported analysis. This results in added value in the form of transparent visibility of the construction progress of individual projects, as well as detailed documentation of construction quality through daily scans of open trenches.

We are actively seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong experience in Vue.js with automation and testing knowledge to support the application of Digital Construction (Digitale Baubegleitung) which will become the central platform for digitization of construction sites for fiber-rollout in Germany.

• Implementation of new features and bugfixes based on the requirements brought by PO
• Collaboration with stakeholders (development teams, PO, Architect, etc.) to ensure smooth operation and development of application
• Participating in reviewing merge requests and writing end-to-end (Cypress) tests
• Cooperation on Incident analyses/troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Creating precise documentation of your work
• To guarantee a high standard of quality, contribution to the test strategy and making decisions on automation technologies
• Participation  in Agile ceremonies and other, application-related discussions

Qualifications

Must have:

• Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), Vite, Pinia, Vue Query
• TypeScript & JavaScript (ES6+) 
• HTML5, CSS3
• REST APIs
• Git

Nice to have:

• Leaflet
• ESLint
• Docker
• Cypress
• Experience with bootstrap-like UI framework(Scale)

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, or related field. 
• 5+ years in frontend development roles, ideally in enterprise-grade web applications. 
• Deep understanding of microservice architectures and Restful protocol
• Experience with modern JavaScript & TypeScript and JavaScript libraries, frameworks, especially Vue.js
• Deep experience with version control (git via GitLab)
• Proven ability to implement complex state management solutions using tools like Pinia, or Vuex
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional Agile teams
• Attention to detail and strong understanding of modern frontend architectures and best practices
• Team player and not afraid to ask or start a discussion if needed
• Constructive problem solving and result oriented mindset
• Ability to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a cloud-native environment
• Fluent English (German is a nice to have)
• Good communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, PO,  app. management. (ENG is official Hub language and we are working in SAFe framework)
• Curious and interested in the latest technologies, especially in frontend-related topics
• Passion for continuous learning and adoption of new technologies.
