Frontend Developer

We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join the Consultec team. You are passionate about building modern, scalable, responsive, and maintainable web applications. You have a strong eye for detail, enjoy solving complex UI challenges, and can translate business and design requirements into intuitive, high-quality digital experiences.

This is a remote position.

Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory, as the role requires frequent communication and collaboration with international teams and clients.

You will:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and Next.js.

• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components.

• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality user interfaces.

• Implement responsive and accessible experiences across different devices and browsers.

• Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Manage application state using modern state management approaches and libraries.

• Optimize frontend performance, loading times, rendering, and overall user experience.

• Implement client-side validation, error handling, and secure authentication flows.

• Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code.

• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend development standards and practices.

Ideally, you'd have:

• At least 3 years of relevant frontend development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern web development practices.

• Experience building reusable components and scalable frontend architectures.

• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Knowledge of React Hooks, Context API, and state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and other Next.js rendering strategies.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization flows such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.

• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience deploying frontend applications to cloud platforms such as Vercel, Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Familiarity with Docker and modern containerized environments is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience working with distributed or global teams.
