Front-End Test Automation Engineer - Short Term Assignment

Short-Term Assignment | EST or Central Time

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a short-term assignment focused on building and strengthening the automated testing strategy for a modern Single Page Application (SPA).

This is a hands-on role for someone who can design test strategies, build automation frameworks, and drive end-to-end QA, while also leveraging AI tools and LLM-based testing.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement a test automation framework/harness and testing pipeline.

• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and QA documentation.

• Develop automated UI, functional, and end-to-end tests for a SPA.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation, test execution, analysis, and documentation.

• Build innovative test scenarios combining traditional automated steps with LLM interactions, including scripted prompts, response validation, and test result artifacts.

• Define clear and maintainable testing standards and processes.

• Partner with the client's UAT team to align automated testing with existing UAT scripts and avoid duplicated efforts.

• Identify opportunities to integrate relevant UAT scenarios into the automated test harness.

• Drive the end-to-end QA lifecycle, identifying gaps and improving overall test coverage and quality.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in QA, Software Testing, SDET, or Test Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Front-End/UI Test Automation.

• Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks and pipelines.

• Strong understanding of the Software/Application Development Lifecycle.

• Experience creating effective test plans, test cases, and test documentation.

• Solid understanding of UI/UX and how to translate user interactions into automated tests.

• Experience with AI tools, AI Agents, and/or LLM-based applications.

• Experience testing AI/LLM interactions or AI-powered features is highly desirable.

• Strong experience with end-to-end testing.

• Ability to work independently and establish a structured QA approach within a short-term engagement.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly with development and UAT teams.

• Advanced / Fluent English level.

• Ability to work during EST or Central Time business hours.
