Job Summary
Investigate and resolve claims through research, coordination of benefits, and subrogation efforts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
LOCATION: This remote position requires that candidates reside in the following eligible states: Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate subrogation, overpayments, and coordination of benefits claims
- Communicate with members, providers, attorneys, and insurers
- Review and validate claims data for payment accuracy
- Negotiate recovery amounts and process disbursements
- Maintain COB data in claims systems
- Ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and ERISA
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Meet performance targets and manage caseloads
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in claims investigation or related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in claims systems and subrogation tools
- Knowledge of healthcare coding (CPT, ICD-10) preferred
