Role Overview

Our client is a fast-growing digital commerce organization focused on delivering exceptional online customer experiences. As they continue to enhance their e-commerce platform, they are looking for a Front-End Web Developer with Shopify experience to help build, maintain, and optimize customer-facing features.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to develop responsive, scalable, and high-quality front-end experiences while working within an established Shopify architecture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys translating designs into production-ready solutions and contributing to the continuous evolution of a modern e-commerce platform.

• Location: Remote position within LATAM.
• Contract Duration: Long-term.
• Language Requirement: Advanced English.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain customer-facing features within a Shopify-based e-commerce platform using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect implementations.
• Develop enhancements, bug fixes, and new functionality while following established development standards and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code that supports long-term platform stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews and agile development processes.
• Leverage native platform capabilities whenever possible to deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to improving front-end performance, accessibility, and overall user experience.

What you'll bring

• 3+ years of experience in Front-End Web Development.
• Professional experience developing with Shopify and Liquid, or comparable e-commerce templating technologies.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience building mobile-first, accessible, and high-performing web interfaces.
• Ability to work within existing architectures while maintaining clean, reusable code.
• Strong attention to design fidelity and user experience.
• Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Advanced English communication skills.

What will make you stand out

• Experience with Shopify Apps, Metafields, Metaobjects, and advanced Liquid development.
• Experience working in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) or e-commerce environments.
• Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and front-end performance optimization.
• Familiarity with A/B testing platforms and experimentation frameworks.
• Understanding of analytics implementations, event tracking, and customer behavior measurement.
• Experience with TypeScript.
