- Tips and tricks that help readers get more value from their connected devices
Responsibilities
- Write original, well-researched smart home feature articles
- Pitch timely, practical story ideas that align with reader needs
- Explain technical concepts clearly for non-technical audiences
- Test devices, platforms, or features when applicable
- Meet deadlines and maintain a consistent freelance output
- Work closely with editors and apply feedback as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience writing about smart home technology or consumer tech (published bylines required)
- Hands-on familiarity with smart home devices, platforms, or automation tools
- Strong ability to break down complex setups into clear, step-by-step guidance
