Freelance Software Engineer (Remote, Europe) - Open Application

This is a remote position.

Join Intecfy's pool of experienced European Tech Freelancers for upcoming client projects across Europe. This is an OPEN Application, meaning there is no specific vacancy attached. Responsibilities

• Deliver production quality software in your core stack (backend, frontend, data, cloud or security)
  
• Design, build and maintain services and APIs, or user facing applications, depending on your role
  
• Work with modern engineering practices: clean code, code reviews, testing and CI/CD
  
• Collaborate in remote teams with clear communication, proactive ownership and reliable delivery
  
• Support incident fixes and continuous improvements when needed, depending on the project
  
• Contribute to agile delivery, usually Scrum or Kanban (daily syncs, planning, reviews, retros)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in your core domain (mid or senior level freelancers)
  
• Strong command of at least one primary stack such as Python, PHP, Java, .NET, Golang, Ruby, Rust or other
  
• Experience in one or more areas: backend, frontend, data and AI, DevOps, cybersecurity, QA, system administration, architecture or product delivery
  
• Comfortable working remotely with international teams
  
• Minimum B2 English level is a must
  
• Work permit to work from Europe
  
• Based in Europe and legally able to work as a freelancer from Europe
  
• Willing to travel to client offices 2 to 3 times per year (travel costs covered)
