Are you an SEO content wizard who uses the magic wand of words to make complex concepts simple? Join our team as a Freelance SEO Content Writer and play a key role in building our topical authority and driving organic growth!
In your first 3 months you will:
  • Familiarize & Align: Understand the Productsup platform, our e-commerce/marketing tech environment, and master our brand's voice and tone.
  • Execute the Roadmap: Work closely with the SEO Manager to execute the immediate content calendar, delivering high-quality, SEO-optimized content against the established roadmap.
  • Launch Glossary Initiatives: Research, write, and optimize B2B SaaS glossary pages for complex industry terms and product-specific technical concepts.
  • Integrate AI Tools: Integrate advanced AI agents (such as Claude and Gemini) into your research and drafting workflows to accelerate content production while maintaining premium quality.
In your first 6 months and beyond you will:
  • Own Content Strategy: Propose advanced content strategies, map out keyword clusters, and present data-backed optimization plans to the SEO Manager.
  • Produce Long-Form Research: Write in-depth, well-researched long-form articles grounded in original research and data to establish deep topical authority.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner directly with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to ensure a consistent user-centric voice across landing pages and SEO touchpoints.
  • Build End-to-End Experiences: Apply basic HTML/CSS knowledge to independently create, layout, and maintain high-converting SEO landing pages.
What you bring to the team
  • 5–7 years of technical content writing experience, with at least 3 years deeply focused on B2B SaaS products.
  • SEO Tool Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, and Google Keyword Planner to identify content gaps and keyword clusters.
  • Proven B2B Portfolio: Demonstrated experience writing technical SaaS glossaries, structured knowledge bases, or long-form research pieces.
  • Topical Authority Expertise: A strong understanding of how individual technical pages and glossary terms support broader SEO cluster strategies.
  • AI-Native Workflow: Comfortable using generative AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) to streamline research and scale content creation effectively.
  • Technical Translation: The ability to quickly grasp complex tech/e-commerce architectures and explain them clearly through engaging text, visuals, or infographics.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
