Conduct comprehensive inspections of Fire & Gas equipment, including vendor, source, and functional checks for energy and industrial projects. Manage documentation, identify nonconformities, and coordinate effectively with vendors, clients, and engineering teams.
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Gas QA/QC Inspector to inspect and verify Fire & Gas equipment for energy and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
Conduct vendor, source, final, FAT, and pre-shipment inspections.
Inspect gas, flame, smoke, and heat detectors, manual call points, alarm devices, and F&G control equipment.
Review purchase orders, drawings, datasheets, specifications, BOMs, and ITPs.
Perform visual, dimensional, nameplate, workmanship, traceability, calibration, and functional checks.
Verify hazardous-area and Ex-rated equipment documentation.
Review test certificates, calibration records, and quality dossiers.
Identify and report nonconformities, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, engineering teams, and QA/QC personnel.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC inspection experience in the energy or industrial sector.
Proven Fire & Gas inspection experience.
Knowledge of gas and flame detectors, alarm systems, and F&G control equipment.
Familiarity with NFPA 72, IEC 60079, IECEx, ATEX, and project requirements.
Experience with hazardous-area equipment is preferred.
Good English communication and technical reporting skills.
Engineering degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Certifications
QA/QC, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Vendor Inspector certification.
NACE, CSWIP, ASNT, IECEx, or other relevant certification.
Manufacturer-specific Fire & Gas training or certification.
Preferred Industry Experience
Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, power generation, renewable energy, EPC, fabrication, or other industrial projects.
