We are seeking a freelancer to join our team for about 10h/week and support our hydration journey. In this role, you'll be assisting us in ensuring all ads for new customers are accurately and engagingly translated for our German-speaking audience. You will also be required to proofread materials in DE and EN, including product packaging, digital and offline marketing and other B2B materials.

You can work from our office in Vienna, hybrid or fully remote.

Availability: 15-30 hours per week

Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:

• You ensure accuracy and consistency of terminology and tone in all translated materials, aligning with waterdrop’s brand voice.

• You localize persuasive content that not only encourages action, drives sales, revenue, and growth, both online and offline, but also weaves captivating stories to build brand awareness and voice, making people feel connected to our brand across all touchpoints.

• You provide proofreading and quality checks on translated content.

• You support any urgent translation needs for product launches or time-sensitive campaigns.

Your strengths and qualifications:

• You’re a detail-oriented freelancer who thrives on creating creative, engaging translations that convey our witty tone of voice.

• You have a deep affinity for language, a talent for wordplay, and an appreciation for amazing alliterations (see what we did there?).

• You work comfortably and efficiently on your own, taking full ownership of your projects and meeting deadlines with ease.

• Ideally, you have a background in translations e.g. having studied Translation Studies is a plus!

• Native proficiency in German and fluency in English are required; additional languages are a plus.

• You have a proven background in a similar role.
