About the role
Join us at Deepdub for an exciting freelance opportunity!
We are currently looking for a fluent Basque (Euskara) speaker with strong English skills to join us as a Freelance Basque Language Specialist.
In this role, you will work with audio and speech content in Basque, helping ensure high quality, accuracy, and natural sounding language across various voice and localization projects.
This is a fully remote freelance opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Listen to and review audio content in Basque
- Evaluate pronunciation, fluency, grammar, clarity, and naturalness
- Identify language and pronunciation issues
- Provide feedback and corrections in English
- Support speech, voice, and language related tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in linguistics, translation, localization, transcription, QA, or audio review - an advantage
- Fluent Basque speaker - must
- Strong English communication skills - must
- Excellent listening and language evaluation abilities
- Strong understanding of natural speech and pronunciation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to provide accurate and structured feedback
