Founding Engineer

About the Role

Join a small, hands-on engineering team building AI software for complex supply chain and procurement operations. This role combines customer-facing work with end-to-end product and infrastructure development, helping shape both the platform and its technical direction.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with customers at their facilities and alongside procurement and supply chain teams to understand operational challenges.

• Turn customer insights into product and infrastructure improvements.

• Own engineering workstreams from scoping through production deployment.

• Partner with company leadership on technical and strategic direction.

• Travel for work every one to two months, including internationally.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of full-stack or backend-focused engineering experience, with a record of shipping production software and delivering meaningful stakeholder outcomes.

• Strong production experience with Python and familiarity with TypeScript and React.

• Experience using AI coding assistants and building or deploying LLMs or other AI models.

• A CS or equivalent technical undergraduate degree from a U.S. institution, plus a record of career growth and significant impact.

• Experience at an early-stage startup or a high-performing established organization; forward-deployed engineering and supply chain or procurement experience are useful.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Remote within the United States, with San Francisco, California as the primary location.
