This role sits within the Risk organization and works closely with internal teams and fintech partners to help monitor fraud risks, support oversight reviews, document findings, and assist with ongoing risk management activities.

This position is ideal for a candidate looking to grow their career in fraud risk, financial crimes compliance, or risk management within a fast-paced fintech banking environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Support fraud risk oversight activities across assigned fintech partner programs.
  • Review fraud trends, patterns, and emerging risks to identify potential concerns.
  • Assist with ongoing monitoring, risk assessments, and partner reviews.
  • Document fraud risk observations, findings, and recommendations.
  • Ensure oversight activities are completed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Work with fintech partner teams to gather information, data, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with tracking open issues, action items, and follow-up requests.
  • Support communication between Fraud Risk Oversight, Fraud Management, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Help prepare materials and summaries for partner meetings and management discussions.
  • Assist with the review and documentation of fraud-related issues and events.
  • Support preparation of management reports, dashboards, and risk summaries.
  • Help maintain records supporting audits, examinations, and governance activities.
  • Escalate identified risks and concerns through established channels.
  • Support maintenance of Fraud Risk Oversight procedures and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, documentation, and oversight processes.
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities related to fraud risk and financial crime trends.

Education and Training Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in fraud, AML/BSA, compliance, risk management, banking operations, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting audits, exams, investigations, or risk assessments is a plus.
  • CAMS, CFE, or similar certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of fraud risk, AML/BSA, or financial crime concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
