We're looking for a detail-focused Finance Assistant (Quality Control) to join our Quality Control team. You'll play an important role in validating and maintaining the accuracy of commissionable assets, contract information and supporting documentation before work progresses through to payment or completion. You'll act as a key checkpoint within the process, ensuring information is complete, accurate and fully supported by the appropriate evidence.

Please note, this role is a 12-month fixed term opportunity created to support an important finance remediation and quality improvement programme, helping strengthen financial controls, improve data quality, and ensure our processes remain robust as we continue to grow.

What you’ll be doing

  • Reviewing and managing incoming requests through the Quality Control shared mailbox.

  • Validating network confirmations, contracts, approvals and supporting documentation.

  • Creating, updating and maintaining asset records and customer information.

  • Reviewing contract details, tariff information and funding arrangements to ensure accuracy.

  • Identifying discrepancies, missing information or conflicting data and working with relevant teams to resolve issues.

  • Supporting commission and funding processes by preparing clear handovers for Commissions Payable.

  • Updating job statuses, notes and supporting records to maintain accurate audit trails.

  • Liaising with Sales, Service Delivery, Partner Managers, Revenue Assurance, network providers and other stakeholders to obtain required information.

  • Supporting investigations into system, process or data-related issues.

  • Ensuring all actions, decisions and approvals are fully documented and compliant with internal controls.

Your Experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and investigating issues.

  • The confidence to challenge incomplete, conflicting or unclear information.

  • The ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.

  • A process-oriented mindset with an appreciation for governance, controls and audit requirements.

  • Experience working with administrative, finance, operational or data-focused processes would be advantageous.
