SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead – Senior Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead – Senior Manager to play a key leadership role in delivering large-scale SAP Finance Transformation programmes. The role requires deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, a strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while leading high-performing implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimisation of SAP FI and CO modules across complex transformation programmes
• Assess current-state finance processes, identify business requirements, and define fit-for-purpose future-state SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on SAP Finance transformation, process improvement, and leading practices
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, process documentation, test scenarios, and implementation plans
• Lead client workshops, solution design sessions, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement forums
• Oversee project delivery activities including planning, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live support, and hypercare
• Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes
• Mentor and guide project teams, supporting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and capability development
• Collaborate across functional and technical teams to ensure integration with related SAP modules and business processes
• Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement within client finance environments
• Support pre-sales, proposal development, and go-to-market activities where required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs, finance controllers, and business process owners

Skills Required

• SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) configuration and implementation
• SAP S/4HANA Finance and Accounting
• End-to-end Record to Report process knowledge and related finance controls
• SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Project Systems, and Treasury
• Finance process transformation and future-state solution design
• Project delivery management including planning, testing, data migration, and cutover
• Client-facing consulting, stakeholder engagement, and senior relationship management
• Team leadership, mentoring, and capability development
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; a master's degree will be advantageous
• More than 10 years of experience in SAP Finance Transformation, SAP FI/CO consulting, or ERP-enabled finance transformation
• Proven experience leading successful SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and complex transformation projects
• Experience across at least one full project lifecycle, preferably across multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration programmes
• Experience in a consulting environment with strong client-facing delivery responsibilities
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification advantageous
