ABOUT THIS ROLE

This is a contract, fully remote, field-based position with a project-driven schedule that requires travel, variable hours based on project and customer needs, and occasional assignments in post-storm recovery environments, with flexibility between projects.

As our Field Services and Training Specialist - Lineman, you'll travel throughout the United States serving as a trusted expert for utility customers installing RS Poles. You'll lead hands-on field training, demonstrate safe installation techniques, and answer technical questions from experienced crews. You'll also be consulting on best practices, conducting field research, collecting data for product improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance training programs and installation methods.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A FIELD SERVICES AND TRAINING SPECIALIST - LINEMAN

• Valid Journeyman Lineman license
• Valid driver's license
• 10+ years of experience working as a Lineman within a utility organization
• Strong knowledge of utility power systems, electrical theory, technical drawings, and material/load calculations
• Experience climbing utility poles and structures and working at heights
• Experience using fall protection systems, hand tools, and powerline equipment
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred qualifications include completing a lineworker apprenticeship or related college program, training or mentoring fellow linemen, developing technical documentation, providing customer-facing support, and supporting transmission, distribution, substation, or utility infrastructure projects.
