Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer provides on-site service, repair, and installation for our products, offering technical support to customers in the operation and maintenance of system equipment. The role includes customer communication and delivering technical solutions and problem resolution. You will diagnose system failures and determine the most cost-effective solutions to resolve them. Complex issues are escalated to higher-level technical support or quality reporting systems. Frequent travel by company vehicle is required; therefore, compliance with the company’s vehicle safety program is mandatory.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

• Perform diagnostics, repair, disassembly, reassembly, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting in accordance with company repair processes to ensure proper equipment operation.
• Install and service life science equipment (including paid services), conduct qualification testing, and contribute to business growth through customer management and service contract sales.
• Report necessary information for product quality improvement to relevant product or quality teams.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with approximately 2–3 years of experience in assembly, installation, maintenance, or servicing of machinery/equipment
• Technical college, vocational school, or university degree
• English skills (basic reading and writing, as manuals are in English)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: 

• Depending on the assigned area, business trips with overnight stays may be required approximately 1–2 times per week on average
• Valid driver’s license required

現在、私たちは、東日本地域でオートメーション分注機の製品を担当するフィールドサービスエンジニアを募集しています。

総合プロファイル:
 

フィールドサービスエンジニアは、弊社製品のオンサイトサービス、修理、およびインストールを提供し、システム機器の運用やメンテナンス面での顧客への技術サポートを提供します。顧客に対しての連絡、技術および問題解決にむけたサービス提供が役割となります。システム障害発生時の診断を含め、最も費用対効果の高いソリューションを判断、解決します。技術サポートや品質レポートシステムのより高いレベルに複雑な問題をエスカレーションします。社用車での移動が頻繁に必要となるため、弊社の車両安全プログラムの要求事項を遵守する必要があります。

主要な職務:

• 弊社修理プロセスに従い、機器が正常動作するよう、診断、修理、分解、再組み立て、テストキャリブレーション、および不具合修正等を実施します。
• ライフサイエンス機器の納品設置、修理（有償含む）、適格性試験、また顧客マネジメントを含み保守契約販売を行い部門の成長に貢献します。
• 製品品質改善に必要な情報を機器担当者、または品質担当者へ報告します。

必須の資格、経験:

• 電気・機械の基本的な知識を持ち、機械・装置の組み立て・据え付け・保守・メンテナンスの2～3年程度の経験
• 高専、専門学校、大学卒業
• 英語スキル - 簡単なリーディング、ライティング程度 （マニュアル類が英語のため）

望ましい資格、経験

• 医療機器または分注機のフィールドサービスエンジニアの経験
• 顧客対応経験

出張・自動車運転に関して　

• 担当エリアにより、平均週1～2日程度の宿泊を伴う出張の可能性有。
• 普通車運転免許証必須。
