Overview
The Field Admissions Representatives finds passionate and motivated students who have a desire to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role will be responsible for working closely with their local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of Universal Technical Institute and its programs. The Representative will work a territory within a 120 miles radius.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a customer –focused, extroverted style that can enliven, engage, motivate, and positively impact individuals. One should enjoy making connections and communicating with people while proactively establishing relationships and must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures. One must also work independently in a fast paced and results oriented environment while prioritizing their schedules to maximize time.
This is a remote position; however, it will require the candidate to currently live and commute throughout Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and execute innovative sales strategies within assigned territory
- Build new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with dealerships and industry partners
- Cultivate relationships with high schools, counselors, principals, and administrative officials in assigned territory
- Identify and support prospective students who demonstrate alignment with UTI’s programs and values
- Establish strong rapport and sustainable relationships with prospective students
- Conduct professional in-home interviews using technical knowledge and interpersonal skills
- Address prospective student concerns to ensure full understanding of UTI opportunities
- Identify and support prospective students who demonstrate alignment with UTI’s programs and values
- Deliver recruitment presentations at high schools and educational institutions
- Attend college and high school fairs
- Lead educator and counselor seminars and financial aid workshops
- Plan and coordinate open house events, STEM events, Future Tech events, and industry employment events
- Promote events by leveraging campus staff, high school counselors, and marketing resources
- Utilize high school and campus events to build awareness of the UTI brand and educational offerings
- Participate in admissions-related activities including campus tours and special events
- Maintain CRM database to ensure thorough follow-up with prospective students
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of UTI programs, financing options, and career pathways
- Track key business metrics including travel, visits, and inquiries in accordance with company policy
- Adheres to all compliance criteria and procedures established by external regulatory bodies and by UTI.

Qualifications
Education / Experience
- High school diploma/GED (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related field (preferred)
- Minimum of three (3) years sales and/or marketing experience (required)
- Sales experience in a post-secondary education market (preferred)
- Bilingual English and Spanish (preferred)
- Valid state issued driver's license (required)

- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
- This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
- Overnight and/or Local travel required (up to 50%) Field reps cover large and/or remote territories. Frequent travel, both by car and air may be required.
