Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to expand its presence in the Raleigh and surrounding Triangle market. This is an outstanding opportunity for a business-generating attorney with an existing book of business to join a firm that provides the infrastructure, marketing, and operational support needed to accelerate practice growth.

This role is ideal for an attorney looking to increase earnings, grow an established client base, and maintain the autonomy of running their practice with the backing of an established firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution.
  • Handle cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, and domestic violence/protective orders.
  • Transition and expand an existing book of business within the firm's platform.
  • Continue developing referral sources and cultivating client relationships throughout the Raleigh/Triangle market.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations throughout the region.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to support continued growth and expansion in North Carolina.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active North Carolina Bar license in good standing.
  • Five or more years of family law experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and maintain a portable book of business.
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
  • Ability to independently manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a thriving practice.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
