Family Guidance Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Remote or Local

North Carolina | $95,000–$115,000 Base Salary | 25 Days Off | Full Benefits

A Different Kind of BCBA Opportunity

Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who believes lasting progress happens when caregivers have the knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies to support their child beyond the therapy session?

We are seeking a North Carolina licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a specialized Family Guidance BCBA position focused on caregiver guidance, parent training, treatment collaboration, and generalization of skills into the natural environment.

This position may be remote/telehealth or local in North Carolina, depending on candidate location and clinical needs.

Unlike a traditional BCBA role centered primarily on managing a direct caseload, the Family Guidance BCBA works as part of a collaborative Clinical Pod that includes a case-management BCBA and behavior technicians. Your primary focus is helping parents and caregivers understand and effectively implement the strategies incorporated into their child's ABA treatment plan.

What You'll Do

As a Family Guidance Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide scheduled caregiver guidance through telehealth when clinically appropriate and recommended by the funding source. You will teach parents and caregivers how to implement ABA strategies within everyday routines and evaluate both their understanding and their ability to apply those strategies successfully.

The Family Guidance BCBA will identify barriers within the child's natural environment, help caregivers problem-solve those barriers, and promote the generalization and maintenance of skills outside of structured therapy sessions.

Collaboration is central to this position. You will provide and receive deliberate feedback with the child's primary Board Certified Behavior Analyst, sharing observations and caregiver feedback that may identify opportunities for treatment modifications and improved clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide scheduled caregiver guidance and parent training through telehealth when clinically and funder recommended.
  • Teach parents and caregivers to understand and implement strategies incorporated into individualized ABA treatment plans.
  • Evaluate caregiver comprehension, implementation, progress, and barriers to successful treatment-plan execution.
  • Identify environmental and family-system barriers that may affect treatment outcomes.
  • Promote generalization of acquired skills into the home, community, and other natural environments.
  • Collaborate closely with the primary/case-management BCBA and behavior technicians within an integrated Clinical Pod.
  • Provide deliberate clinical feedback based on caregiver interactions and observations.
  • Receive feedback and treatment updates from the primary BCBA to ensure consistency across the child's treatment.
  • Identify observations or caregiver feedback that may indicate the need for treatment modifications.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation consistent with clinical, ethical, and funding requirements.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Current North Carolina licensure as required to practice behavior analysis.
  • Experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
  • Strong clinical communication and caregiver-training skills.
  • Ability to translate behavioral principles into practical strategies families can use in everyday life.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to coordinated, team-based care.
  • Ability to effectively provide clinical services through telehealth.

Experience working with children with autism and providing structured parent or caregiver guidance is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts should be compensated competitively while having the time and resources necessary to provide excellent clinical care.

This position offers:

  • Competitive base salary of $95,000–$115,000
  • 25 days off
  • Health insurance options
  • Dental insurance options
  • Vision insurance options
  • Remote/telehealth or local work opportunities
  • Collaborative Clinical Pod model
  • Specialized clinical role focused on caregiver guidance and meaningful treatment outcomes

Help Families Turn Treatment Into Everyday Progress

Great ABA therapy cannot stop when the therapy session ends.

The Family Guidance Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) helps bridge the gap between treatment plans and everyday family life. By giving caregivers the skills, feedback, and confidence to implement effective strategies, you can help children generalize progress to the places where it matters most-home, school, community, and daily routines.

If you are a North Carolina licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst looking for a specialized BCBA opportunity that combines telehealth, caregiver guidance, clinical collaboration, and evidence-based ABA treatment, we encourage you to apply.
