The Opportunity
You've owned external reporting cycles, prepared consolidated statements, and made disclosure judgements that hold up under scrutiny. Now that expertise has a new application: shaping how frontier AI models reason through financial reporting the way an experienced practitioner does.

What You'll Do

• Design realistic financial statement and disclosure tasks grounded in real reporting cycles

• Write evaluation rubrics that pin down correct GAAP / IFRS presentation, classification, and disclosure — including the judgement about what gets disclosed and how

• Review AI-generated statements, consolidations, and note disclosures for compliance, completeness, and internal consistency

• Build reference statement sets and disclosure checklists that serve as the standard for evaluation

• Identify output that is technically passable but non-compliant or under-disclosed, and explain the gap precisely
  

You May Be A Good Fit If

• 5–8+ years in external / SEC reporting, financial reporting, or audit with a strong reporting focus

• You know a full set of statements and the disclosure requirement behind every line

• CPA, ACA / ACCA, or equivalent (preferred, not required)

• Deep in US GAAP or IFRS — ideally fluent in both
  

How Engagements Work

Fully remote, part-time and flexible. Work is scoped by project and ranges from short engagements to ongoing collaborations, structured as a contract or a monthly retainer.

Compensation
$80–$200 per hour, aligned with expertise, scope, and impact; exceptional or highly specialised expertise can go higher. Ongoing engagements are typically structured as a monthly retainer rather than hourly billing.
