Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERP Business Analyst to
join our team and play a critical role in optimizing and maintaining our Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations ERP system to enhance business
operations. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems and
processes, coupled with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible
for identifying, analyzing, resolving, and documenting complex system-related problems
with system users, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the ERP
system. The individual will need to
possess strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules like Finance &
Operations (F&O).

What We’re Looking For:
- Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of specific Dynamics 365
modules (e.g., F&O and CE) and their functionalities. Must have
experience communicating with end users to gather requirements and
business reasoning for translation of expectations to Development team,
as well as communicating with end users on progress made.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration
skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, to
include the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to
non-technical audiences, and vice versa.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business
problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Must have experience analyzing cross application dependencies - for
instance, how requests would affect Dayforce, CE, existing integrations, etc.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific business
processes and best practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate independently and set
priorities amongst multiple task assignments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, assignments,
and projects. Self-motivated and highly engaged.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable
solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, end-users,
and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work
independently in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Or equivalent combination of education
and work-related experience.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in reading,
writing, and speaking English is required to effectively perform the
duties of this role.
- Accounting or financial sector experience also a
plus.
- 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst in
supporting, managing, or implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &
Operations ERP system.
- Proficiency with the following D365 finance
modules/areas preferred:
- General
Ledger
- Accounts
Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Project
Management in Accounting
- Tax
processing
- Intercompany
- Project
Timesheets
- Strong proficiency in system configuration,
customization, and data management within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 ISVs, specifically
HSO’s aec360, SKSoft Treasury Automation Suite (TAS), RSAT, and Docentric
are a plus.
- Dynamics 365 Certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE is a plus.

- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and
document business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of
their needs.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and identify
areas for improvement, aligning them with ERP system capabilities.
- Solution Design: Designing and proposing solutions using Dynamics
365 modules, considering scalability, performance, and best practices.
- System Configuration: Configure ERP modules to meet business needs and
process workflows, ensuring effective implementation of solutions.
- Troubleshooting Issues: Investigate and resolve system errors, data
inconsistencies, and user-reported problems. Review incoming support requests and
independently work towards an appropriate and timely resolution. Must be willing to deep dive into system
issues while deploying a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach
to problem solving. Tenacity,
perseverance, and creativity are needed to keep exploring different
solutions, even when the first attempts don't succeed.
- User Support and Training: Provide training and support to end-users,
facilitating a smooth transition to new or updated ERP functionalities.
- Testing/Deployment/Validation: Leads testing efforts, ensuring the quality and
functionality of the implemented solution, and managing the deployment
process. Conducts User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system
changes and ensure they meet specified requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, external
consultants, and vendors to prioritize and implement system enhancements
and upgrades.
- Customization and Configuration: Configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 to meet
specific business requirements, including security, and workflows.
- Problem Solving: Problem identification and analysis, solution
development and implementation, system maintenance and support, and
collaboration and communication.
- Testing Solutions: Participate in testing new configurations, customizations, or updates to ensure
they function as intended and do not negatively impact other areas of the
system.
