Epic PB & Claims Principal Trainer

Job Details: Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Title:                             Epic PB & Claims Principal Trainer Location:                             Remote Department:                       Epic Implementation/Operation Reports to:                         Epic Training Manager Employment Type:            Full-time, Exempt Travel Required:                Yes, 10% Salary Range:                       $75,000-$85,000     Summary Reporting directly to a Training Manager, the Epic Professional Billing and Claims Principal  Trainer will be responsible for overseeing enterprise end-user training and education efforts  related to Epic billing and claims applications. The Principal Trainer will be responsible for  collaborating with other training and education staff to build and maintain the master training  environment in Epic and manage curriculum design and delivery efforts for Epic professional billing  and claims applications. The Principal Trainer will also work closely with Epic Professional  Billing and Claims Application Managers and Analysts to understand the unique system design and  build for Planned Parenthood to create customized, relevant curriculum for end users.   Essential Functions •  Meeting with Professional Billing and Claims Application Managers and Analysts to validate and  design key workflows. •  Building and maintaining the master training environment in Epic and reconciling training user  accounts. •  Designing and developing PB and Claims focused training curriculum based on Epic best practices  and Planned Parenthood’s unique build and configuration of Epic. •  Managing the full PB and claims end user training program for Planned Parenthood, including the  identification and deployment of credentialed trainers. •  Monitoring the completion of end user training and ensuring all professional billing and claims  end users achieve proficiency in their designated applications. •  Developing and maintaining Planned Parenthood’s Epic training curriculum and materials  repository. •  Developing post go live educational programs for credentialed trainers, superusers, and end  users that support optimization efforts. •  Reviewing and understanding new features and functionality deployed by Planned Parenthood to  create updated training strategies.   Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibility.   Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Business Acumen, Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, Oral and Written Communications Ethics, Diversity, Initiative, Teamwork, Leadership Computer and Technical Skills Quality, Safety & Security Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in: Engineering, Computer Science, training and education, or related field. Current certification or Planned Parenthood credentialed status in applicable Epic application(s) Prior experience in a revenue cycle focused role or specialty. Possesses prior enterprise training and education experience     Skills    Required •  Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills. •  Demonstrates established training management and curriculum design experience. •  Experience managing multiple teams of resources in a software implementation effort. •  Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills. •  Conveys information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter  experts. •  Conveys the ability to gain trust and establish effective relationships with Epic  counterparts. •  Seeks, logically examines, and interprets information from various sources to determine a  problem’s cause and to develop a course of action to resolve the problem and prevent its  recurrence. •  Has a demonstrated understanding of the role that racial inequity plays in our society and its  impact on healthcare systems and institutions.   Preferred •  Possesses prior Epic experience, especially with Resolute Professional Billing • Possesses prior experience designing and maintaining master training environments. • Possesses prior experience with the end-to-end establishment of Epic training programs and  curriculums. • Possesses prior experience working with Planned Parenthood.   Physical and Environmental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
