We’re seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst – Home Health to develop, implement, optimize, and support Epic and related clinical applications. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to combine your knowledge of Epic, healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and system configuration to help create efficient solutions that support clinicians and the patients they serve.
Important: Previous employment experience as an Epic Analyst supporting Home Health is required to be considered for this opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Working under the direction of the Ambulatory Application Manager, you will:
- Develop, configure, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic and related clinical information systems.
- Translate clinical and operational business needs into effective Epic EHR functionality and workflows.
- Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend practical system solutions.
- Build and configure system components, perform testing, maintain documentation, and support implementation activities.
- Develop and maintain workflows while helping end users understand Epic clinical application functionality.
- Partner with clinical and business teams to understand challenges and develop solutions that improve processes, efficiency, and patient safety.
- Troubleshoot system issues and analyze application functionality against business and clinical requirements.
- Lead and facilitate discussions with stakeholders to support decisions, resolve issues, and advance projects.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support ongoing system availability and maintenance.
- Stay current on Epic functionality, healthcare operations, and the changing needs of Home Health users.
What You’ll Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, information technology, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Experience

Previous employment experience as an Epic Analyst supporting Home Health is required.

Minimum of 3 years Epic Application Build.

Rover application experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare experience required.
- Experience in a home health agency, hospital, or major medical center clinical environment with IT system deployment is preferred.
- Experience designing, configuring, training, implementing, or supporting clinical systems is preferred.
- Experience with CPOE, clinical documentation, Home Healthcare, billing, scheduling, access services, or health information management is beneficial.
- Hands-on Epic clinical systems experience and previous clinical systems support or project team experience are preferred.
Epic Certification
- Current EpicCare Home Health certification, or the ability to attend the required multiweek Epic training program and obtain EpicCare Home Health and associated certification within 60 days of program completion, is required.
- Required new-hire training programs must be completed within 90 days of hire.
- All required certifications must remain current throughout employment.

- The ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
