We are seeking a Global Regulatory Environmental Engineer professional to provide regulatory guidance across the Global Seeds Business Platforms. This role supports manufacturing and production facilities, research locations, laboratories, and corporate functions such as auditing, process safety, and mergers and acquisitions.
This highly technical position requires a strong combination of engineering and environmental regulatory expertise. Candidates should possess a solid engineering foundation, with particular strength in air emissions calculations and compliance.
As a multi-disciplinary environmental compliance leadership role, this position will provide oversight and support across a broad range of environmental media and regulatory programs, partnering with stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to work effectively within the structure of a Global EH&S Management Systems (Work Processes, Procedures, Goals and Objectives, etc.).
- Perform Environmental Calculations (Primarily Air Emission) independently in support of Environmental Permitting.
- Preparation and submission of Environmental Permit Applications for Global Operations.
- Negotiate Permits, Fines, and Environmental Regulatory Advocacy Positions on behalf of both the Business and Individual Sites.
- Support Environmental Programs and Environmental Regulatory Solutions which are in alignment with the Corporate Sustainability Objectives.
- Demonstrated Proficiency in Air, Water, Waste, and Pesticide Regulatory Environments.
- Lead and Participate in Environmental Multi-media Regulatory Compliance Audits.
- Lead Interactions with Business Personnel for the creation of Site/Business Level Environmental Procedures
- Provide Environmental Expertise for Management of Change Reviews.
- Provide Guidance and Support for Environmental Compliance Corrective Actions.
- Review, Interpret, and Communicate Environmental Regulatory Laws and Regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with internal and outside Legal Counsel.
- Other job requirements as directed by the Supervisor
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree strongly preferred
- A minimum of 7 years’ prior work experience in a related Environmental Position
- Prior work experience in a Manufacturing Environment is desired

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.

- Periodic travel is required (10% to 30%).
- Ability to periodically work at elevated surfaces and in a Grain or Chemical Handling Environment.
