Overview :
The Enterprise Architecture CoE Market Lead is responsible for shaping, positioning, and scaling the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence (EA CoE) as a market-facing, value-driven capability. This role combines architecture leadership, market strategy, and client engagement, ensuring EA drives business outcomes, transformation programs, and revenue growth across industries.
The role acts as the bridge between business strategy, technology architecture, and go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities
EA CoE Strategy & Leadership
- Define and evolve the Enterprise Architecture CoE vision, charter, and operating model
- Establish EA standards, frameworks, reference architectures, and governance models
- Drive adoption of industry frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate) aligned with business needs
- Build scalable EA capabilities across business, data, application, technology, and security architecture
Market & Go-To-Market (GTM) Ownership
- Own market positioning and value proposition for EA CoE offerings
- Design EA-led transformation offerings (cloud, modernization, platform, AI, data, ERP, digital)
- Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to drive pipeline creation and deal conversion
- Lead client pursuits, RFP responses, architecture assessments, and transformation roadmaps
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs (CIO, CTO, CDO, COO) on enterprise transformation
- Lead executive architecture workshops, maturity assessments, and roadmap definitions
- Ensure EA recommendations are business-outcome driven, not just technology-centric
- Support large-scale transformation programs (cloud migration, legacy modernization, ERP, digital platforms)
Capability Building & Innovation
- Build and mentor a high-performing EA community and architect talent pool
- Drive adoption of modern architecture practices (composable, platform-based, cloud-native, API-first)
- Integrate EA with Agile, DevOps, Product Operating Models, and FinOps
- Leverage tools and platforms for EA repositories, modeling, and analytics
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish architecture governance aligned with security, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure alignment between enterprise strategy, portfolio planning, and execution
- Balance speed, innovation, cost, and compliance in architecture decisions
Thought Leadership & Brand Building
- Represent the organization at industry forums, client events, and conferences
- Publish whitepapers, case studies, and POVs on Enterprise Architecture and transformation
- Collaborate with technology partners and ecosystem providers
Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies
Architecture & Technology
- Deep expertise in Enterprise Architecture domains (Business, Data, Application, Technology)
- Strong understanding of Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), SaaS, ERP, Data Platforms, AI, Integration
- Experience with architecture modeling tools and EA repositories
Business & Market Skills
- Proven ability to translate architecture into business value and ROI
- Experience in consulting, client advisory, or market-facing roles
- Strong commercial acumen and GTM execution experience
Leadership & Communication
- Executive-level communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to influence across business, IT, and leadership teams
- Experience leading cross-functional and matrix teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business
- 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, or Digital Transformation
- TOGAF or equivalent EA certification (preferred)
