What: An Enterprise Applications Staff Architect position responsible for defining the overarching architecture, standards, and multi-year roadmap that enables our rapidly scaling business to operate with world-class efficiency and effectiveness. Where: This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States and may be performed fully remote. Candidates who are local to one of our office hubs are also welcome to work in a hybrid model from our Palo Alto office (375 Forest Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301) or our New York City office (115 Broadway, New York, NY 10006), in alignment with our office work policy.

How (to land the job!): Our interview process typically includes an initial recruiter conversation, followed by technical and architectural interviews with IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
The day-to-day:
- Define, own, and evolve the enterprise applications architecture, including technology selection, frameworks, and integration patterns
- Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap aligned to business strategy and future scalability needs
- Architect and deliver secure, scalable, end-to-end solutions across ERP/finance, CRM/GTM, and CX/support ecosystems
- Lead architecture reviews and enforce governance, standards, and best practices across the enterprise applications landscape
- Design and oversee enterprise integration strategies (API-led, event-driven, ETL/ELT) ensuring strong data quality, security, and observability
- Act as a cross-domain architect, aligning systems with cloud, identity/access (IAM), security, and compliance standards
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define system boundaries, data ownership, and critical workflows (e.g., lead processing, customer support, financial data flows)
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, driving technical excellence, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI tools to improve architecture processes, innovation, and decision-making
- Influence senior leadership with clear architectural vision, tradeoffs, and recommendations tied to business outcomes
Skills & qualities we value:
- 8–10 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in enterprise, solutions, or application architecture roles
- Strong experience with enterprise systems (ERP/finance, CRM, CX/support) and their integration ecosystems (APIs, middleware/iPaaS, messaging, ETL/ELT, data platforms)
- Hands-on expertise designing complex CRM/GTM workflows, data models, and integrations (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar)
- Experience architecting customer support ecosystems (case management, portals, knowledge management, escalation workflows) and integrating with engineering/partner tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira)
- Deep knowledge of integration patterns (API-led, event-driven), API design (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, governance, MDM, and enterprise data security
- Solid grasp of enterprise security principles (Zero Trust, IAM, SSO, OAuth, SAML) and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, SOX, GDPR, CCPA)
- Proven success delivering scalable, secure systems in high-growth or SaaS environments
- Ability to define and drive long-term technical strategy while balancing near-term business needs
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with strong business acumen

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - 190,000 per year, depending on a number of factors including the candidate’s working location.
