ECS is seeking a Program Manager to work remotely supporting NOAA in a part-time role.
- Manages the overall ECS support requirements at/for the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center in Lakeland FL.
- Provides planning and policy recommendations as well as identify/implement operational improvement.
- Supervises the ECS team which currently consists of aircraft mechanics, aircraft technicians, aircraft quality inspectors, engineers, public affairs specialists, and aviation life support equipment technicians.
- Interfaces with Contracting Officer's Representative and AOC leadership regarding support requirements.
- Develops/manages budget, approves expenditures, tracks metrics, and responsible for profitability for contract support.
- Provides monthly status and financial reports to COR and ECS management.
- Provides direct engineering and other services to AOC as required.
- Processes required documentation, approves/tracks expenditures and provides overall management of subcontractors.
- Occasional travel as required.
Salary Range: $55.00 - $62.00
Qualifications
- 10 yrs experience in the aviation industry providing programmatic, operational, engineering and/or technical leadership.
- Deep understanding of aviation regulations, life cycle support, maintenance, best practices and/or emergency response.
- Experience in personnel management/supervision
- Experience in project management
