What You Can Expect

As the EMEA Product Specialist you will support the responsible introduction, adoption and lifecycle management of Iovera across EMEA, working with country commercial teams, healthcare professionals and cross-functional partners. The position translates regional strategy into practical market-development, training and customer-support activities, while ensuring that all activities and communications are consistent with approved country-specific product labelling, applicable regulations and Zimmer Biomet policies.

Iovera is the regional product and clinical-commercial expert for the Iovera cryoneurolysis platform within the Cardio and Thoracic business.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Support the implementation of the EMEA Iovera commercialisation and market-development plan for Cardio and Thoracic applications, in alignment with regional strategy, approved claims and country readiness.
  • Serve as the regional product expert for the Iovera platform, including its cryoneurolysis mechanism, system components, clinical workflow and approved use; maintain current knowledge of the applicable Instructions for Use and local labelling.
  • Partner with in-country Sales, Marketing and clinical teams to identify, qualify and develop appropriate account opportunities, customer pathways and implementation plans.
  • Develop and deliver compliant product, procedural and customer-value training together with product and sales academies for internal teams and, where appropriate, support healthcare-professional education in collaboration with Medical Education and Clinical Affairs.
  • Support customer cases, demonstrations and early-adoption programmes within the scope of approved training, local authorisation and role-based responsibilities; escalate clinical, safety or technical matters through established processes.
  • Gather and communicate customer insights, treatment-pathway feedback, competitor intelligence and market-access barriers to inform EMEA strategy, forecast assumptions and lifecycle priorities.
  • Contribute to launch readiness, including product positioning, sales tools, demand planning, inventory visibility, pricing inputs and country activation milestones.
  • Work closely with Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Legal, Compliance and Medical Affairs to ensure promotional materials, education, events and customer interactions remain compliant.
  • Support identification and engagement of appropriate clinical experts for approved educational, advisory and congress activities, following all transparency and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to EMEA congresses, workshops and digital education initiatives; measure activity outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Track performance indicators, adoption progress, training completion and customer feedback; provide regular updates, risks and recommended actions to the EMEA leadership team.
  • Collaborate with other EMEA segments to identify appropriate pathway, account and cross-portfolio opportunities.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong technical and clinical-commercial understanding of medical-device therapies; experience in pain management, cryoablation/cryoneurolysis, anaesthesia, interventional procedures, thoracic surgery or related fields is preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex procedural and product information clearly to healthcare professionals and commercial colleagues.
  • Demonstrated capability to support product launches, market development and customer adoption in a regulated healthcare environment.
  • Working knowledge of medical-device compliance requirements, promotional review processes and the importance of country-specific labelling and approved claims.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build credibility with healthcare professionals, distributors and cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial acumen, analytical mindset and ability to translate field insight into practical actions.
  • Confident trainer and presenter, with strong communication skills in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Self-directed, organised and able to manage multiple projects and travel across EMEA.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., life sciences, biomedical engineering, nursing, business or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in medical devices, clinical specialist, product specialist, sales, marketing or market-development roles.
  • A background supporting procedural products and healthcare-professional education is preferred.
  • Experience working across multiple EMEA markets, or with distributor-led markets, is advantageous.
  • Willingness to complete and maintain all required product, compliance and clinical training.

Travel Expectations

Up to 60% across the EMEA region, including customer visits, training programmes, congresses and internal meetings.
