About the role

As an Email + SMS Project Manager at Homestead, you are the operational backbone of our lifecycle marketing team. You keep campaigns moving, deadlines tight, and nothing falling through the cracks – across a portfolio of DTC brands running monthly email campaigns, automated flows, and SMS programs.

You'll sit at the intersection of strategy, copy, design, and client communication. Your job is to make sure the right assets are in the right hands at the right time, approvals don't stall, and every campaign ships on time and at standard. When something's behind, you flag it before anyone else notices. When a client is slow on approvals, you follow up with the right mix of urgency and professionalism. When a strategist needs something pulled together for a call, you've already got it.

Responsibilities

  • Own the production timeline for monthly email campaigns across a portfolio of DTC clients, tracking every deliverable from brief through deployment, ensuring nothing ships late or half-baked.
  • Coordinate across strategists, copywriters, and designers to keep tasks moving through each stage of production, following up before deadlines slip rather than after.
  • Manage client communication for asset collection and approvals, gathering product imagery, promotional details, brand updates, and signoffs on time so campaigns stay on schedule.
  • Take detailed, actionable notes during client calls and internal meetings, documenting decisions, action items, and follow-ups so nothing gets lost between conversations.
  • Monitor flow and campaign progress in Asana, keeping boards clean, tasks current, and stakeholders informed on status without being asked.
  • Flag risks and blockers early – if a campaign is at risk of missing its send date, the team hears it from you first, along with a proposed path forward.
  • Support strategists in preparing for client calls by pulling together performance snapshots, campaign calendars, and any relevant context ahead of meetings.
  • Use AI tools (we use Claude) to streamline your workflow – drafting follow-ups, organizing meeting notes, building status updates, and finding faster ways to manage recurring processes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably at a marketing agency, eCommerce brand, or in a role managing multi-stakeholder creative production.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with overlapping deadlines without dropping balls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, you can follow up firmly without burning relationships, and your Slack messages are clear, not novels.
  • Excellent organizational instincts – you build systems and checklists, not just to-do lists.
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana strongly preferred) and comfort navigating Slack, Google Workspace, and Figma at a basic level.
  • High attention to detail – you catch the missing link in the message and the task that was marked done but wasn't

Additional Information

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be able to work standard business hours (9:00am–5:00pm) in ET, CT, MT, or PT time zones.
