You will act as the production engine for retention programs by building and scheduling email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo and Postscript. This involves managing segmentation, QA, A/B testing, and ensuring all technical aspects of campaign execution are accurate and timely.
About the Job
Mars Men is one of the fastest growing DTC brands in the US, achieving $100M run rate in less then 18 months. Recently backed by L Catterton, Mars Men is positioned to become the leading men’s health brand in the supplement space. We operate across DTC, retail, and emerging channels, and are entering our next phase of growth as we continue scaling the business.
As our Email/SMS Implementer, you'll be the production engine behind our retention program. You'll take approved copy and design and turn them into accurate, responsive campaigns and lifecycle flows in Klaviyo and Postscript. You'll own build quality, links, segmentation, scheduling, QA, and the final checks that make sure the right customer receives the right message at the right time.
You'll work inside a small in-house retention pod alongside a copywriter and designer, with clear ownership of execution and a high bar for speed and detail.
What You'll Do:
Build email campaigns and lifecycle flows in Klaviyo from approved copy and Figma designs
Build and schedule SMS/MMS campaigns in Postscript, including links, media, segmentation, and send settings
Maintain reusable templates and modular content blocks so recurring campaigns can be produced quickly without sacrificing quality
Set up segments, flow triggers, filters, delays, splits, suppression logic, and dynamic content based on the campaign or flow brief
QA every send before launch, including copy accuracy, links, UTMs, discount codes, personalization, images, mobile rendering, dark mode, and footer/compliance requirements
Test emails across major clients and devices, including Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook, and flag rendering issues before launch
Implement A/B tests accurately and confirm the test setup matches the stated hypothesis
Schedule campaigns and publish flow updates only after final approval from the retention team
Troubleshoot broken links, incorrect logic, rendering issues, and other production errors quickly when they occur
Keep Klaviyo and Postscript organized, including naming conventions, archived versions, templates, and documentation
Partner with the Copywriter and Designer to flag anything in a brief that cannot be implemented cleanly before it becomes a last-minute production issue
Must-Have Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on email production or lifecycle marketing implementation experience for a DTC, ecommerce, or agency environment
Strong hands-on experience building campaigns and flows in Klaviyo
Experience with an SMS platform such as Postscript, Attentive, or similar
Comfortable working from Figma files and copy documents and translating them precisely into production-ready sends
Strong understanding of segmentation, flow logic, personalization, suppression, scheduling, and basic deliverability hygiene
Strong QA discipline and exceptional attention to detail, especially around links, offer logic, customer eligibility, and send settings
Working knowledge of responsive email behavior, mobile rendering, dark mode, and common Gmail/Apple Mail/Outlook constraints
Ability to work quickly across multiple campaigns and flows while meeting deadlines in a remote environment
Clear written English and the ability to communicate production risks or questions early
Self-starter who takes ownership, follows documented processes, and is comfortable being accountable for execution quality
